JEE Advanced 2014 Cut off:- Indian Institute of technology known as IITs , these are the institutions of national importance which all are established by the Act of Parliament. IITs is known to provide the excellent education for the students. In our country , there are sixteen IITs at present located at Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jodhpur, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Mandi, Mumbai, Patna, Ropar, Roorkee and Varanasi.

- Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Advanced) is going to be held on June 2014. To appear in the JEE Advanced exam , all students have to pass the eligibility criteria. Before the JEE Advanced exam , the JEE Main exam will be conducted by the IITs. In JEE Main 1.5 lakh students are going to be appeared only the 50% students can apply for the JEE Advanced. In the JEE Advanced exam ,there are two question paper with the duration of 3 hours. The Question paper will be in English and Hindi. As compared to the format in the past two years,this year there was only one section in the first paper that did not have negative marking.2. The JEE-Advanced was conducted in 95 cities across India and one overseas centre at UAE.3. Data shared by IIT-Delhi that is in-charge of conducting the JEE (advanced) shows that 51,170 general category students and 47,085 OBC candidates registered for the exam.There were around 20,000 OBC candidates who hadn’t registered because they did not meet the OBC eligibility criteria.
4. There are 9,647 undergraduate seats in 15 IITs, IT-BHU and ISM Dhanbad while the number of undergraduate seats in the 30 NITs of the country is 15,678 including the seats in the new ones.
